The thrill of the hunt is alive and well at Spring Carlisle every April, but did you know that in addition to the cars available within the car corral, Carlisle Auctions offers a two-day collector car auction on Thursday and Friday of the spring show? It's true!  In fact, Carlisle Auctions runs 400+ lots across the block and many are consigned under the "Free Unless Sold" guarantee*.

The guarantee means any consigned collector car (25 years or older) that does not sell as part of the auction will see most of the registration fees refunded to the consignee. Certain exceptions apply.

Carlisle Auctions also offers special "featured vehicle" slots. These slots are limited, but if selected, will be positioned within the Carlisle Expo Center. When applying to consign, select "featured vehicle" within the registration paperwork. At that point, the Carlisle Auctions' team will make a determination on inclusion.

If accepted, an additional $300 featured vehicle fee will apply. If the featured consignment doesn't sell, only the consignment fee is refunded (call 717-960-6400 for details).

The auction offers decades of past, present, and future classics. From white glove, best of show consignments, to head turning daily drivers, you'll see it all! There is also an All-Truck Hour on Thursday of the Spring auction.

Carlisle Auctions has found its niche within the collector car hobby, and part of the draw is its popular All-Truck Hour. This hour, dedicated solely to trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, vans, and other similar non-car-based vehicles, has been a staple since day one for a few years now.

Have you ever attended an auction as a buyer or seller and wondered where all the cars and bidders come from?  The truth is cars and those who bid on them come to an auction house in a variety of ways.  Sometimes we find the car or bidder, sometimes the car or bidder finds us, and in other instances...it's word of mouth, a referral if you will.

Carlisle Auctions fully embraces the concept of a referral, so much so that we'll financially reward you IF your tip leads to a consignment selling or a bidder who qualifies to buy.  Here's how it works.  

Bidder Referral:  
•    Refer a new bidder and earn 10% commission on buyer and seller fees if they are the winning bid
•    Must be a new bidder with no prior Carlisle Auctions business history
•    To receive a commission, a vehicle must be purchased by the referral at auction
•    No commission will be paid if the vehicle does not sell
•    The person referring the new bidder must be referenced on the bidder registration form prior to bidding

Seller Referral:
•    Refer a new seller and earn a 10% commission on buyer and seller fees if the car is sold at auction
•    Must be a new seller with no prior business history with Carlisle Auctions
•    To receive a commission, the referred vehicle must sell at auction
•    No commission paid if the vehicle does not sell
•    The person referring the new seller must be referenced on the consignment form before the sale.

Commission Example:
•    Average buyer and seller fees combined are 10%
•    As an example, if a vehicle sells at auction for $50,000, fees would come to $5,000
•    Referral commission paid would be $500
